Barking Green are planning to make the two Fratelli Brothers albums available for download in the near future. 'Stories my Country Told Me', released as a promo in 1997 collected together works for television written by composers Richard Heacock and George Taylor. After Neill MacColl joined the partnership in 1999, the three writers embarked on an ambitious album project in 2002. Recorded at Stephenson Ground in the Lake District, 'The Music of Sound' sampled from both the partnership's previous commercial work and Neill's extensive library of eccentric spoken word vinyl. The results never saw the light of day, but they will shortly be materialising in glorious MP3-O-Vision for you to enjoy. Watch this space...
